Micah's first day of kindergarten was yesterday -He wasn't so sure he wanted to go, but did fine and today he even said it was good. His favorite thing is recess - already! :)

Micah got lots of really fun presents for Christmas! The day we opened presents he stayed in his jammies all day! :) We also got to spend a few days at my parents house - it was the first Christmas we got to have with Jadon and Audrey there, too. We loved being with them!

It's my birthday, and I'm five!

So, I'm a little late in posting, but we had a blast on Micah's birthday in December! For two months he kept telling us that he wanted a "Motorcycle - four wheeler" cake. Then that transposed into a "motorcycle - four wheeler - stuck in the mud" cake! We did our best and came up with a cake that he liked! Patrick and I had made him a wooden workbench with a real vice grip on it. He loved the tool set as you can see! Only once or twice have we had to remind him that the tools are for his workbench and not for taking the railing off the stairs! He's a big 5 year old now!

Halloween

Micah dressed up as a giraffe for Halloween this year. One neighbor asked him, "Did you fall off of Noah's ark?" He replied, "No. I just dressed up this way!" We had a great time trick-or-treating, going to the pumpkin patch where he learned to call pigs during the pig races, and carving our pumpkin!

Micah had a pumpkin hunt at his preschool last week, and it was cold! He found the "perfect" pumpkin!

Lowe's Build and Grow

Lowe's has these clinics called "build and grow" where you go and get to make really cool stuff! The first one we went to we built a firetruck. Micah LOVED the hammer that was just his size. Check out his tongue in these pics - he was working hard!
